The Jasmin, established by the Singh-Sandhu family in January 1980 began its story as a small unlicensed restaurant.It wasn’t long before word spread about the culinary prowess of Mrs Singh. Her commitment to her family recipes, her integrity with produce and her masterful art of blending spices attracted curry addicts from everywhere.
As the clientele grew, it was necessary to expand and obtain a liquor license. An elegant dining room was created in 1982 with mahogany tables and chairs and good friend Tom Gleghorn’s magnificent works of art brought the room to life. A private dining room was added about ten years ago.
